Growers association sells Habets van Wylick

Fossa Eugenia and Parati BV announce today that they have sold their share in the trading company Habets van Wylick. One and a half year after the takeover of Habets van Wylick, the Venlose growers association and investor company Parati BV distance themselves from their direct interest in the trading company. Habets van Wylick, also based in Venlo has been transferred to the Staay Food Group from Barendrecht.

With the initial takeover of Habets van Wylick, Fossa Eugenia decided to be the first growers association in South-east Holland to participate in a trading company that specialized in fruit and vegetables in may 2004. The association now reverses this decision.

Coöperation with Staay Food Group
According to Ton Holthuijsen, chairman and spokesman of Fossa Eugenia, the participation in a trading company is not necessary to cooperate closely with trading companies. <continue>
